Hey Jim,
There unfortunately isn't a guide to tell us what steps were installed by the manufacturer in your 2021 Dutchmen Astoria so we'll need to take a few measurements first to determine compatibility. The first measurement is going to be the width of the narrowest part of the door frame. There should be a flange on both sides of the door that prevents the door from swinging into the camper. The steps will sit between these flanges so we need to know how much space we're working with.... view full answer...
The Classic Accessories PolyPro III Deluxe RV Cover # CA80103 is going to be the best cover we carry for the stock dimensions of your 2023 Mercedes Sprinter 144RV. This cover fits up to 20' long vans that can be up to 9'9" tall. If your van is longer due to a spare tire mounted on the rear door or other parts you would want to step up to the next larger size # CA80104.
The cover can be installed by one person but if you have any roof mounted products you would need to get on the roof... view full answer...
The TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Scissor Steps # TLA8006 are designed to replace the fold out style steps most commonly found on 5th wheel type trailers. For your BigFoot truck camper you would want a system like the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear # TLA7846 which is also a 6 step unit like the one you found. This is designed for an entry height of 46-1/2" to 58" tall and is designed to mount on the outside of the camper just below the door. The steps will snap... view full answer...
Hey Barry,
The Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS04 come with a bracket that the top of the steps slip into, and then they can be removed before you leave the campgrounds - so they have a type of quick disconnect system in place.
If you wanted to keep the steps on your camper so it's one less thing you have to think about grabbing, then you'll want to get the TorkLift GlowStep Stow N' Go Scissor Steps w/ Landing Gear # TLA7834 instead. view full answer...
Hey Ted, thanks for reaching out!
If your 2024 Ford F-250 has an 8' bed and a step under the bed then we actually have a TorkLift kit that will work with it!
- Front # TL87CR
- Rear # TLF3008
For a different setup please let me know what you have and I'll be more than happy to help you out! view full answer...
Hey Robert, that is an interesting question. While the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS04 are generally not installed in this way, I see no reason why you could not use angle iron to attach the bracket to the sub floor. The sub floor should be plenty strong to support the weight of the step. As long as you have your angle iron attached securely to the sub floor I do not see any issues with doing it this way. view full answer...
Possibly, but I would need to know more info on your truck to be sure. What is the Year Make Model, bed length, cab style, what trailer hitch do you have, do you have step bars? Do they go under the truck bed or stop at cab? view full answer...
The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps # MR85RR weighs about 70 lbs. As far as the flip step, I assume you are referring to the MORryde Flip Tread RV Steps # MR42UR which weighs about 45 lbs. Both of these steps will fit your 28" wide door. Personally I like the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps just because of how stable they are. There is no movement or bouncing when you use the steps like a lot of other RV steps. They are a bit heavier than others but they are really not difficult to open and close,... view full answer...
Unfortunately Thayne, I have no way to look up what parts were installed on your 2008 Coachmen Freedom Express 21QB motorhome. So you are going to need to measure for the width of your step and the amount the step needs to drop. Here is a list of the different single steps we offer with the widths.

Starting off with air bags I recommend getting the Firestone # F2400. Firestone air bags have the best construction and are the most reliable. These have 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity and come with a lifetime warranty on the air springs. If you want to be able to make adjustments from the cab no matter where you go I would also add an air compressor like the # F99VV. This system has wireless control and will let you adjust each air bag independently.
When you say the wired to tie... view full answer...
I do have a solution, but there are no handrails made specifically for the Lippert SolidStep RV Steps # LC791573. My recommendation is to install the MORryde Safe-T-Rail Telescoping RV Hand Rail # MR54BR. This rail is 54" long and is going to extend 42-1/2" from your RV wall so it is a much better option than something like your standard grab handle.
I have attached a review video below for your reference. In the video you will see this works really well with 4 steps so it should be even... view full answer...
Thank you for the image Mike. You are most likely going to need the 5 Step Hand Rail # AHR5 but I do recommend measuring to see where the handrail is going to end up. First of all the post for the handrail places the bottom of the rail 43" from the ground. The rail is also 57" long so you will want to see where these points meet on your application to determine if it will attach to your steps and if it will be too tall.
The 4-Step Hand Rail # AHR4 is going to also have a 43" post but... view full answer...
Hey Rad, it comes down to what the door threshold height is of your camper which Torklift Glowstep would be correct for you. If the entry height is between 25-1/2 inches and 36 the part # TLA8103 would be correct. Here are the other height ranges if this doesn't work for you.
18-1/2" - 28" # TLA8102
25-1/2" - 36" # TLA8103
32-1/2" - 44" # TLA8104
39-1/2" - 52" # TLA8105
46-1/2" - 60" # TLA8106 view full answer...
Hey Tommy, the RV step kits like the part # LC375821 that you referenced weren't designed to fit trucks but if you were willing to do some modifications I am sure there is a way for it to fit and work. The level of modifications that it would take is not something we are familiar with though. view full answer...
An E4 error code indicates either a lack of refrigerant, a bad compressor, or an uncalibrated thermistor. The compressor isn't a replaceable part but you could see if the thermistor needs to be recalibrated by completing the steps listed in the attached picture.
Since RV air conditioner condenser units have a closed refrigerant system you wouldn't be able to add in more like you would with your residential condenser unit and ultimately would need to replace the unit if it is in fact low.... view full answer...
